We have always believed that the skilled hands of Master Artisans, combined with their innate talent, represent unique opportunities for the self expression of Patrons of the Arts.
Destined to become heirlooms of the future, we developed our “Custom Commission” product line in collaboration with our Artisan Partners as a series of blank canvases designed to give artisanal expression to that which you hold closest to your heart.
America’s most classic lighter becomes a blank canvas to custom engrave your personal symbol or motto.
While we would be pleased to recreate an engraving as pictured, we remain available to guide our patrons in designing a custom motif.

A L’Arte Nascosta exclusive, this version of the “Ubi Es” ring is the result of a collaboration between Master Goldsmith, Paolo Penko, and Master Engraver, Jesùs Serrato.
Cast in Sterling Silver according to the traditional lost-wax method, the “Ubi Es” ring is further embelished by Jesùs Serrato, who applies a 24k damascened embellishment.
Originally designed by Paolo Penko, the “Ubi Es” ring is inscribed with an ancient betrothal vow in Latin: “Ubi Es Semper Ero,” or, “Wherever you are, there shall I be.”
The stunning precision of Jesús Serrato’s hand engraving is suspended somewhere between art and reality - somewhere between hyperrealism and fantasy... nothing short of hypnotizing.
Our Pilastro rings can be custom engraved by Maestro Serrato with your own personal motif in virtually any style imaginable, and further embellished with damascening inlay in pure silver, 24k gold, or copper.
We will be in touch within 2 business days of receiving your order to schedule a complementary design consultation.
With watch collectors in mind, we worked with Master Engraver, Jesús Serrato, to devise a unique bespoke service that offers L’Arte Nascosta patrons the opportunity to commission custom engraved watch buckles to pair with their favorite watches.
It is our hope that each of these handmade items will complement the most prized watches of your collection, enriching their already significant stories with your own personal contribution.
A L’Arte Nascosta exclusive design and the fruit of a collaboration between masters, the “Scarabeo” Pendant recalls the intriguing aesthetic and symbolism of ancient artifacts, featuring a hand carved jade or lapiz lazuli with 24k Gold Inlay embellishments by Master Engraver Jesùs Serrato (Rome) and can be set in your choice of an 18k Gold or Sterling Silver swivel pendant setting by Riccardo Penko of the Penko Bottega Orafa (Florence).
Custom motifs may be engraved or inlaid on the underside the scarab.
