The “Documento” Case is our signature document carrier.
Soft and luxurious, our “Documento” Case is ideal for under-arm carry and was designed with convenience, functionality, and elegance in mind.
Available in brown, whiskey, or black calfskin, this item is lined in suede and hand assembled by the skilled artisans at Romanelli’s workshop in Florence. It is embellished with an optional .999 silver inlaid pommel closure, hand engraved exclusively for L’Arte Nascosta by our Artisan Partner and Master Engraver, Jesùs Serrato.

The “Tascapane” Haversack marries the essence of Tuscan country life with the practical needs of global living.
Handsewn in “Tela Olona” canvas and your choice of vegetable tanned bull hide or calfskin with a rigid leather base, each bag offers a spacious main compartment, a secondary internal pocket, and an additional zip pocket. Two external pockets are protected by the bag’s main flap when closed and by matching leather flaps that are secured by magnetic closures.

Travel
The “Imperial” Rucksack is every adventurer’s best friend: our exclusive riff on one the Romanelli’s most iconic bag designs, which they developed in the 1980’s for hunters and safari-goers. This roomy rucksack was built with hard use and adventure in mind.
The spacious main compartment includes a small zip pocket. It secures shut with a handsewn leather drawstring and a flap in your choice of vegetable tanned bull hide or vacchetta leather. Smaller items can be stored in the three front pockets, which similarly secure shut with handsewn flaps in leather.
All hardware is Italian-made in solid brass.
Bags can be styled with your own choice of leather and “Tela Olona” canvas. See customization options below.
We called this bag the “weekender,” but perhaps the “long-weekender” would have been more appropriate.
Its spacious main compartment can easily store your essentials for several days of travel by air, land or sea. Smaller items can be stored in an internal zip pocket, or in one of the external flap pockets that secure shut with Italian-made, solid brass buckles.
The bag has a rigid leather bottom and includes a removeable should strap, which attaches to the bag with two lockable solid brass clips.
Bags can be styled with your own choice of leather and “Tela Olona” canvas. See customization options below.
In Ancient Persia, the lion and sun motif symbolized power & vigilance. Centuries passed, and precious tapestries depicting images such as this were crafted and traded across villages, countries & continents until they ultimately reached Perugia, a small wealthy city that in the Middle Ages was known around the world for their production of exceptional textiles.
Today, several centuries later & against all odds, Marta Cucchia’s family workshop, Atelier Giuditta Brozzetti, keeps this ancient tradition alive. In fact, it was Marta and her colleagues that wove the central panel that gives this bag its name by hand on jacquard looms dating to the 19th century.
The “Leone” Tote was hand-sewn by the Romanelli family in the best suede and sailcloth canvas available on the market. The bag’s closure was first engraved by Master Engraver Jesùs Serrato, and cast in solid brass by Master Goldsmith Paolo Penko.
