Inspired by the stained glass rose windows of Gothic cathedrals, the Cathedral Rose Micromosaic Pendant mimics its inspiration in both color and form. It is composed of several hundred individually set minute glass tesserae (mosaic tiles) oftentimes smaller than a millimeter in diameter, and mounted on a matte-finished sterling silver setting measuring 1-1/4 inches in diameter on a 19-3/4 inch silver chain.
The pendant is delivered with a display storage box, a certificate of authenticity, and a sampling of the bacchette, or colored glass rods, used to compose the micromosaic.
